AWS Connect

This documentation for the AWS Connect integration describes the technical capabilities of this integration, including authorization, scopes/permissions, and utilized endpoints. For more information on how to integrate AWS Connect, visit our connection instructions.

Version

This integration utilizes the AWS Connect Amazon Connect API v2.

Base URL

The base URL used for all AWS Connect API endpoints:
https​://connect.region.amazonaws.com/

Authentication & Authorization

The DataGrail AWS Connect integration connects using header-based authentication which requires a Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.

Sensitive Credentials
Publicly exposing your API credentials can allow unauthorized access to AWS Connect API endpoints by a third party. DataGrail stores your API credentials encrypted and protected.

Capabilities

Access

DataGrail's AWS Connect integration provides Synchronous Access capabilities for the following supported identifier category: Phone.

Data Interactions

For Access requests, DataGrail will take the following actions:

  1. Fetch a list of available AWS Connect instances.
  2. Search for the Data Subject Phone Number in each of the detected Amazon Connect instances.
  3. If a match is found, DataGrail will extract the relevant phone number details.

Endpoints Utilized


Deletion

DataGrail's AWS Connect integration provides Synchronous Deletion capabilities for the following supported identifier category: Phone.

Data Interactions

For Deletion requests, DataGrail will take the following actions:

  1. Fetch a list of available AWS Connect instances.
  2. Search for the Data Subject Phone Number in each of the detected Amazon Connect instances.
  3. Release the extracted phone numbers.
