Adobe Experience Platform Tags was previously known as Adobe Launch. If you are searching for Adobe Launch, you are in the right place.

Before You Start

To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:

• DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
• Adobe Experience Platform Tags User Role: Admin

Create OAuth Server-to-Server Credentials

1. Log in to the Adobe Developer Console.
2. Select your organization from the organization switcher in the upper right.
3. Select Create new project, then select Edit project to give it a descriptive name (e.g. "DataGrail Integration").
4. Select Add API.
5. Under Experience Platform, select Experience Platform Launch API (Reactor API), then select Next.
6. Select OAuth Server-to-Server as the credential type, then select Next.
7. Select one or more product profiles that grant access to the Launch properties you want to manage. Then select Save configured API.
8. On the project overview page, select OAuth Server-to-Server in the left menu under Credentials.
9. Copy the following values and store them in a safe, temporary location:
   • Client ID
   • Client Secret (select Retrieve client secret to reveal it)
   • Organization ID (shown as XXXXX@AdobeOrg on the Credentials page)

About Product Profiles

Product profiles control which Launch properties the credential can access. Your Adobe admin can configure product profiles in the Adobe Admin Console. At minimum, the profile must include permissions for the properties you want to manage with consent banners.

Connect to DataGrail

1. In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Adobe Experience Platform Tags.
2. Enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and Organization ID obtained during Create OAuth Server-to-Server Credentials.
3. Select Configure Integration.
4. If the connection is successful, the integration status will update to Connected.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:

Invalid credentials

Verify that the Client ID, Client Secret, and Organization ID are copied correctly from the Adobe Developer Console. The Organization ID must include the @AdobeOrg suffix.

Insufficient permissions

Ensure the product profile assigned to your OAuth credential has the required permissions for the Launch properties you want to manage.

Expired client secret

OAuth Server-to-Server client secrets can expire. Check the credential status in the Adobe Developer Console and rotate the secret if needed.

Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources

DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.

Review Required Account Types and User Roles

If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
