Integrating Authorize.Net

Capabilities

DataGrail's Authorize.Net integration provides the following capabilities:

Before You Start

To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:

  • DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
  • Authorize.Net User Role: Admin

Get Authorize.Net API Credentials & Keys

  1. Log in to Authorize.Net.
  2. In the Account section of the dashboard, go to the API Credentials & Keys.
  3. Copy your API Login ID and store it in a temporary, secure location.
  4. If a Transaction Key already exists, that key can be used for this connection. If not, select to create a new Transaction Key.
  5. Verify your identity with the Verify PIN sent to your email.
  6. Copy your new Transaction Key and store it in a temporary, secure location.

Connect to DataGrail

  1. In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Authorize.Net.
  2. Enter the API Login ID and Transaction Key and select the desired Environment in the dropdown.
  3. Select Configure Integration.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:

Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources

DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.

Review Required Account Types and User Roles

If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
