Integrating Engagio
DataGrail’s Engagio Integration provides data mapping and privacy request functionality allowing your business to do the following:
- Identify Data Subject PII stored in Engagio for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
- Delete Data Subject PII stored in Engagio for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
**Note: if you do not have admin rights in Engagio you will not be able to complete this integration. Please contact your Engagio Admin for assistance.
Step 1: Create an API Key

Go to
https://developer.demandbase.comand follow the instructions under Getting a Token to create an API key.

Copy the generated API key temporarily in a secure location.
Step 2: Connect Engagio

Return to DataGrail (window should be open in a separate tab).

Click Connect within the Integration page for Engagio.

Enter the API Key you created in Step 1.

Select Outbound Deletion to configure deletion through the outbound process.
- Add Processor Email. This is the email that will receive the privacy request.
- Optionally, add additional information to help the processor validate the privacy request:

Account ID: your Account ID in the system.

Account Name: your Account Name in the system.

Notes: any notes that you'd like to send to the processor regarding the privacy request.

Click Connect and a green success banner should appear at the top of the page.

If there are additional Engagio accounts to integrate follow these instructions:

Click Edit Connection within the Integration page for Engagio.

From the drop-down, select +Add New Connection.

Under Connection Name, enter a new name to identify this separate account [ex: Engagio Training Account].

Repeat Step 1 to copy API Key for this new account.

Enter the API Key.

Click Connect.

In DataGrail, if you have any other integrations not connected (no green check mark) please click Connect to complete the configuration and reference the Help Docs link for instructions.
