Integrating Google Drive

Before You Start
To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:
- DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
- Google Drive Account: Google Workspace
- Google Drive User Role: Admin
Connect to DataGrail
- Log in to the Google account you would like to use to establish the connection to DataGrail.
- In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Google Drive.
- Select Login to Configure.
- Select the appropriate Google account for the connection.
- Select Allow to grant DataGrail the necessary permissions for the connection:

Troubleshooting
If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:
"This app isn't verified" Error
The DataGrail Google Integrations are in the process of being verified, so it is possible you receive a "This app isn't verified" error. To resolve this:
- Open the Google Admin Console.
- From the Admin Console, select Main Menu, Security, and then API controls.
- Under App access control, select Manage Third-Party App Access.
- Select Configure new app, and choose Client ID.
- Paste the DataGrail Client ID:

- Check the boxes for the Client ID that you want to configure, and then press Select.
- Choose the option Trusted to allow DataGrail the appropriate access.
- Click Configure.
- On the apps page, the Access column should show Trusted.

Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources
DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.
Review Required Account Types and User Roles
If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
