Integrating GoToWebinar

DataGrail’s GoToWebinar Integration provides data mapping and privacy request functionality allowing your business to do the following:

  • Identify Data Subject PII stored in GoToWebinar for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
  • Delete Data Subject PII stored in GoToWebinar for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.

**Note: if you do not have admin rights in GoToWebinar you will not be able to complete this integration. Please contact your GoToWebinar Admin for assistance.

Step 1: Get Client ID and Client Secret​

  1. Register for a GoTo Developer Center account.
  2. Log in to the GoTo Developer Center.
  3. Navigate to My Apps page.

  1. Click the Add a new App button on the My Apps page.

  1. Configure the new application:

    1. Add name and description.
    2. Choose GoToWebinar in the Product API list.
    3. Set Application URL as: https://datagrail.io/oauth/gotowebinar
    4. Click the Create App button.

  2. Click on the new application name on the My Apps page.

  3. Copy the Consumer Key (Client ID) and Consumer Secret (Client Secret).

Step 2: Connect GoToWebinar​

  1. Go to DataGrail.
  2. Click Connect within the Integration page for GoToWebinar.

  1. Enter the Client ID and the Client Secret obtained from Step 1.
  2. Click Connect GoToWebinar

  1. Log in to GoToWebinar with your GoTo account.

  1. Click the Allow button to grant access to your GoTo account.

  1. After successfully authenticating on GoToWebinar you will be redirected back to DataGrail.

  1. If there are additional GoToWebinar accounts to integrate follow these instructions:
  2. Click Edit Connection within the Integration page for GoToWebinar.
  3. From the drop-down, select +Add New Connection.
  4. Under Connection Name, enter a new name to identify this separate account (ex: GoToWebinar Training Account).
  5. Repeat Step 1 to get the Client ID and the Client Secret for this new account.
  6. Enter the Client ID and the Client Secret obtained from Step 1.
  7. Click Connect.

  1. In DataGrail, if you have any other integrations not connected (no green check mark) please click Connect to complete the configuration and reference the Help Docs link for instructions
