Integrating Learndot

DataGrail’s Learndot Integration provides data mapping and privacy request functionality allowing your business to do the following:

  • Identify Data Subject PII stored in Learndot for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
  • Delete Data Subject PII stored in Learndot for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.

**Note: if you do not have admin rights in Learndot you will not be able to complete this integration. Please contact your Learndot Admin for assistance.

Step 1: Create a Learndot API Token​

  1. Log in to Learndot
  2. Locate the System tab >> Setup >> API
  3. Click Generate a New API Token. Copy this new token and paste it into the DataGrail connection window in Step 2

Step 2: Connect Learndot​

  1. Return to DataGrail (should already be open in separate tab)

  2. Enter the Base URL (the web address you use to access your Learndot site (https://{YOUR_BASE_URL}/apidocs/index.html) and the API Token from Step 1 in the connection window as seen below

  3. Finally, click Connect Learndot

  4. When connected, a green check mark will then appear on the Learndot integration tile

  5. In DataGrail, if you have any other integrations not connected (no green check mark) please click Connect to complete the configuration and reference the Help Docs link for instructions
