Integrating Oracle OPERA

DataGrail’s Oracle OPERA Integration provides data mapping and privacy request functionality allowing your business to do the following:

  • Identify Data Subject PII stored in Oracle OPERA for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
  • Delete Data Subject PII stored in Oracle OPERA for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.

**Note: if you do not have admin rights in Oracle OPERA you will not be able to complete this integration please contact your Oracle OPERA Admin for assistance.

Step 1: Get Oracle OPERA credentials

  1. Please contact Oracle OPERA support to obtain API credentials:
    1. Username
    2. Password
    3. Domain

Step 2: Connect Oracle OPERA

  1. Return to DataGrail

  2. Click Connect within the Integrations page for Oracle OPERA

  3. Enter credentials obtained from Step 1

  4. Select Outbound Deletion to configure deletion through the outbound process (API Deletion is not available at the moment)

    1. Add your Oracle OPERA Internal System Owner email as Processor Email (this is the email that will receive the privacy request to execute the deletion). Optionally, you can also add additional information to help complete privacy request:

    2. Account ID: your Account ID in the system

    3. Account Name: your Account Name in the system

    4. Notes: any notes with instructions on how to proceed with the request internally

  5. Click Connect Oracle OPERA.You should get a success message if the connection is successfully granted.

  6. If there are additional Oracle OPERA accounts to integrate follow these instructions:

    1. Click Edit Connection within the Integrations page for Oracle OPERA

    2. From the drop-down, select +Add New Connection

    3. Under Connection Name, enter a new name to identify this as a separate account, and click Connect

    4. Repeat Step 1 to get credentials for this new account

    5. Enter required credentials

    6. Optionally, select Outbound Deletion to configure deletion through the outbound process.

    7. Click Connect

  7. In DataGrail, if you have any other integrations not connected (no green check mark) please click Connect to complete the configuration and reference the Help Docs link for instructions
