  3. Select Create Application.
Application Configuration
  • Enter name/description: DataGrail
  • Assign scopes/services: CRM (profiles)
  • Generate credentials.
  • Save the Client ID, Client Secret and Application Key in a secure, temporary location.
  1. Navigate to API Catalog.
  2. Open any endpoint and look at the Base URL shown for Try It: https://{tenant}.hospitality-api.{region}.ocs.oc[-test].com. Copy the following fields from the URL.
Fields to Copy
  • Tenant: the hotel’s tenant code used to target the right tenant especially in OPERA Cloud environments that host multiple tenants.
  • Region: the region in which the hotel’s OPERA Cloud environment is running.

  2. Save the propertyId numeric value as a Hotel ID (the OPERA internal ID of a hotel in your tenant).
  3. Save the enterpriseId numeric value as a Enterprise ID (the unique identifier for the enterprise).

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:

Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources

DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.

Review Required Account Types and User Roles

If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.

See Before You Start to review these requirements.
