Integrating Podio
DataGrail’s Podio Integration provides data mapping and privacy request functionality allowing your business to do the following:
- Identify Data Subject PII stored in Podio for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
- Delete Data Subject PII stored in Podio for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
**Note: if you do not have admin rights in Podio you will not be able to complete this integration. Please contact your Podio Admin for assistance.
Step 1: Create a Podio Client ID and Client Secret

Log in to your Podio account.

Click on icon in upper right corner and select Account settings.

Select API keys tab

Fill the form as shown below and click the Generate API Key button. Please note that you may specify any Application name, but the full domain should be datagrail.io.

Copy the Client ID and Client Secret values and store them.

Step 2: Connect Podio

Return to DataGrail (window should be open in a separate tab).

Click Connect within the Integration page for Podio.

Enter the Client ID and Client Secret obtained from Step 1.

Click Connect.

Click Grant access button on the next screen.

Your application will be connected to Podio

If there are additional Podio accounts to integrate follow these instructions:

Click Edit Connection within the Integration page for Podio.

From the drop-down, select +Add New Connection.

Under Connection Name, enter a new name to identify this separate account [ex: Podio Training Account].

Repeat Step 1 to copy Client ID and Client Secret for this new account.

Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.

Click Connect.

In DataGrail, if you have any other integrations not connected (no green check mark) please click Connect to complete the configuration and reference the Help Docs link for instructions
