Integrating ReadyCloud

Capabilities

DataGrail's ReadyCloud integration provides the following capabilities:

Before You Start

To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:

  • DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
  • ReadyCloud User Role: Admin

Create ReadyCloud App

  1. Log in to ReadyCloud.
  2. Go to Settings then Clients.
  3. Under My Apps, enter an App Name.
  4. Select Add App.
  5. Copy the App ID and App Secret and store them in a temporary, secure location.

Get an Access Token

  1. Open the following URL after replacing YOUR_APP_ID with the App ID from above: https://www.readycloud.com/api/v1/oauth2/authorize?scope=contact%20company-read_only&response_type=token&client_id=YOUR_APP_ID.
  2. Select Allow Access to authorize DataGrail access to the following parts of your ReadyCloud app:
Required Permissions
  • View team details
  • Manage contacts
  1. In the URL, the value of access_token is your Access Token. Copy the value and store it in a temporary, secure location.
Locating Access Token

For example, if the original URL is:

https://www.readycloud.com/api/v1/oauth2/auth_code#access_token=YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN&expires_in=31536000&token_type=bearer&user=your_user%40your_company&scope=contact+company-read_only&refresh_token=...

then, your Access Token is YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN.

Connect to DataGrail

  1. In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for ReadyCloud.
  2. Enter the Access Token .
  3. Select Configure Integration.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:

Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources

DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.

Review Required Account Types and User Roles

If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
