Integrating Rokt

Capabilities

DataGrail's Rokt integration provides the following capabilities:

Before You Start

To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:

  • DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
  • Rokt User Role: Admin

Get API Credentials

  1. Sign in to One Platform at my.rokt.com
  2. Navigate to Profile Settings under your account icon at the bottom left.
  3. Scroll down to the Generate Personal API Credentials section.
  4. Enter the name of your app and select Generate.
  5. Copy the App ID and App Secret. Store them in a secure, temporary location. You will not have access to the App Secret again.

Rokt supports data deletion requests for specific accounts that have been whitelisted by Rokt. If your account hasn’t been whitelisted and requires access to data deletion, please contact your Rokt account manager.

Connect to DataGrail

  1. In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Rokt.
  2. Enter the App Id and App Secret.
  3. Select Configure Integration.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:

Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources

DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.

Review Required Account Types and User Roles

If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
