Integrating Rollbar
Capabilities
DataGrail's Rollbar integration provides the following capabilities:

Before You Start
To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:
- DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
- Rollbar User Role: Admin
Get Rollbar API Tokens
- Log in to the Rollbar Dashboard.
- Using the left menu, select a project: Settings > Projects > select your project.
- Using the left menu go to Project Access Tokens and select Create a new access token.
- Enter a name for the token, allow read access, and select Save.
- Copy the new token as your Project Access Token.
- Using the left menu go to Settings -> Account Access Tokens and select Add new access token.
- In the new token editor:

- Check read and write access
- Add a name for the token (e.g. DataGrail).
- Copy the new token as your Account Access Token.
- Save configuration.
Connect to DataGrail
- In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Rollbar.
- Enter the Project Access Token and the Account Access Token.
- Select your desired Asynchronous Deletion Behavior.
Rollbar Deletion Behavior Configuration
Mark integration as complete when a deletion request is successfully submitted: The Rollbar Integration will be marked as "complete" as soon as the deletion request is submitted to Rollbar.
Continue processing until the deletion request is completed (default behavior): The Rollbar Integration will show a "processing" status until the Rollbar deletion is complete.
- Select Configure Integration.

Troubleshooting
If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:
Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources
DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.
Review Required Account Types and User Roles
If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
