Integrating Salesforce Order Management
Capabilities
DataGrail's Salesforce Order Management integration provides the following capabilities:

Before You Start
To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:
- DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
- Salesforce Order Management User Role: Admin
Create a Salesforce OAuth Application
- Log in to Salesforce.
- Navigate to the Gear Icon > Setup.
- Select App Manager in the left navigation panel.
- Configure the New Connected App
- Fill the form with the following app settings:
Conected App Configuration
- Add a Connection Name and your Contact Email.
- Add Callback URL:
https://datagrail.io/oauth/salesforce_oms
- Select the following required OAuth Scopes:

Manage user data via APIs (api)Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
- Enable the required OAuth settings:

Require Secret for Web Server FlowRequire Secret for Refresh Token Flow
- Please wait a few minutes for the changes to take effect. Navigate to Application Settings, locate and copy the Consumer Key (as Client ID) and Consumer Secret (as Client Secret). Store them in a secure, temporary location.
- Navigate to Connected Apps > Manage and set the following policies:
Refresh Token Policy: Refresh token is valid until revoked
Connect to DataGrail
- In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Salesforce Order Management.
- Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Select your Environment, either Production or Sandbox, based on your Salesforce application configuration.
- Select Login to Configure.
- Log in to Salesforce Order Management if prompted, then select Allow to authorize the necessary permissions to DataGrail.

Troubleshooting
If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:
Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources
DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.
Review Required Account Types and User Roles
If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
