Integrating Webex

DataGrail’s Webex Integration provides data mapping and privacy request functionality allowing your business to do the following:

• Identify Data Subject PII stored in Webex for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.
• Delete Data Subject PII stored in Webex for automatic fulfillment of privacy requests.

If you do not have admin rights in Webex you will not be able to complete this integration. Please contact your Webex Admin for assistance.

Step 1: Configure Webex API Access

1. Log in to Webex My Apps with your account.
2. Click Create a New App button.
3. Click Create an Integration button.
4. Fill the form with app settings:
   • Add Integration name.
   • Add Contact email.
   • Select Icon.
   • Add Description.
   • Add Redirect URI: https://datagrail.io/oauth/webex
   • Select Scopes:
     • meeting:participants_read
     • meeting:admin_participants_read
     • meeting:preferences_read
     • meeting:schedules_read
     • meeting:admin_schedule_read
5. Click Add Integration button.
6. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret temporarily in a secure location.

Step 2: Connect Webex

1. Log in to DataGrail.
2. Click the Configure New Integration within the Integration page and search for Webex.
3. Click the Configure button.
4. Enter integration name (e.g. Webex).
5. Enable required capabilities. See Connecting Integrations to DataGrail
6. Optionally, enable Direct Contact for access and fill the Direct Contact Settings form to configure the Direct Contact process: See Direct Contact Integration Explained
7. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret obtained from Step 1.
8. Click the Configure Integration button.
9. Once you click, you will be redirected to the Webex. You may have to log in to your Webex account if you are not logged in already.
10. Click on the Accept button to allow DataGrail integration access to your data (see Scopes configuration on the Step 1.
11. After successful authorization you will be redirected back to DataGrail.
12. If you have additional Webex accounts to integrate, repeat the steps above.
13. In DataGrail, if you have any other integrations not connected please click Connect to complete the configuration and reference the View Connection Instructions link for instructions
