Integrating Zendesk Sell

Before You Start
To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:
- DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
- Zendesk Sell Account: Professional or higher
- Zendesk Sell User Role: Admin
Get Zendesk Sell API Credentials
- Log in to Zendesk Sell.
- In the top left, select the menu icon and select Sell.
- On the left hand menu, select the settings icon at the bottom.
- Under Integrations, select OAuth.
- Select Developer App, then select Add Developer App.
- Enter the following information for the new application:
Application Configuration
Name: DataGrail
Description: Automate privacy requests
(or anything else you prefer)
Website: https://datagrail.io
Redirect URL: https://datagrail.io/oauth/zendesk_sell
- Select Save.
- Next to your newly created App, select Details.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and store them in a secure, temporary location.
Connect to DataGrail
- In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Zendesk Sell.
- Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Choose your Plan from the dropdown.
- Select Login to Save.
- Log in to Zendesk Sell if prompted and authorize the necessary permissions to DataGrail:
Required OAuth Scopes
Read-only access to all your data, except for the account and user info.
Write-only access to all your data, except for the account and user info.
Read-only access to the account and users info only.
Read-only access to all your data via the Sync API.

Troubleshooting
If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:
Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources
DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.
Review Required Account Types and User Roles
If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
