Before You Start
To successfully configure this integration, please ensure you have sufficient privileges:
- DataGrail User Role: Super Admin, Connections Manager
- Zoho Desk User Role: Admin
Configure Zoho Desk API Client
- Go to the Zoho API Console.
- Select Add Client and create a new Server-based Application.
- Configure the new Client:

https://datagrail.io/oauth/zoho\_desk
- Copy your Client ID and Client Secret and store in a secure, temporary location.
- Optionally, enable Multi-DC (multi data centers) support.
- Log in to Zoho Desk Dashboard.
- Select the Setup menu in the top-right corner.
- Select API in the Developer Space section.
- Copy your Organization ID, displayed at the bottom of the page and store it in a secure, temporary location.
Connect to DataGrail
- In DataGrail, navigate to Integrations and select Configure New Integration to search for Zoho Desk.
- Enter the Organization ID, Client ID, and Client Secret.
- Select the Domain (region).
- Select Login to Configure.
- Log in to Zoho Desk if prompted and authorize the necessary permissions to DataGrail:

If you are unable to successfully connect the integration, review these common troubleshooting steps:
Ensure Required Permissions Are Granted on API Keys/Resources
DataGrail checks required permissions and scopes on API keys/resources used by each integration. If all necessary permissions are not granted, new connections will fail.
Review Required Account Types and User Roles
If users do not have the necessary permissions or the minimum required user role in the connecting system, the connection to DataGrail will fail. Additionally, connections will fail if your account type does not match the one required by the integration.
