Request Manager Agent Overview

The Request Manager Agent extends Data Subject Request automation to any internal data systems in a simple and efficient manner. The Agent is installed in your network and polls DataGrail for work, then communicates with your internal systems to fulfill requests.
This solution allows you to create any business logic you would like in your systems while maintaining a standardized interface with the DataGrail application. Our approach ensures the separation of concerns between your internal data operations and the privacy operations of fulfilling DSRs in DataGrail.
Easy to Deploy
The Request Manager Agent is distributed as a Docker image, enabling deployment in virtually any containerized environment. Configuration is managed through environment variables, which define the metadata necessary for interfacing with supporting systems.
Host the Agent alongside your cloud-based systems on AWS, GCP, and Azure, using container orchestration technologies like Elastic Container Service, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes.
Secure by Design
Deploying the Agent in your network gives you complete control of the connections to your internal systems. The Agent uses an egress-only architecture, meaning it only makes outbound connections and never accepts inbound traffic. This eliminates the need for exposed endpoints and inbound firewall rules. The Agent polls DataGrail for work over secure, encrypted connections, then connects to your internal systems using credentials you control. Internal system access follows the principle of least privilege by only granting access to only what's needed to fulfill the request.
Flexible Integrations
Communicate with internal systems (databases, data warehouses, APIs, etc.) using one of the many pre-built integrations.
Internal systems change over time and it's easy to update the Agent to encompass new systems to include in DSR processing automation.
