Inviting New Users with Microsoft Entra ID

Inviting a new user to DataGrail with Microsoft Entra ID is as easy as adding users to the DataGrail application within Entra ID. Contact your Azure AD administrator requesting access to the DataGrail application and they will be able to get the new user added.

To complete this, an administrator will select the DataGrail application with Entra ID, click Manage, and then select Users. Here they will be able to add the user and grant access to the DataGrail platform.

Once added, they'll be able to login using their Microsoft Entra ID login. After their first login, they will be met with an error view and will be unable to access the platform, don't worry - this is normal!

They will need to reach out to a coworker who is an administrator (Legal Role) in DataGrail who will be able to assign the new user a role. Learn more about managing roles and permissions in DataGrail here.

Once a role has been assigned, they'll be able to login and access the DataGrail platform.
