Getting Started With Request Manager

To get started using Request Manager as your privacy solution, the following components will need to be configured.

1 - Transactional Mailer

Email messages are used to communicate with and validate a data subject's identity, as well as service Direct Contact data operations and keep your team informed via notifications. A Transactional Mailer allows DataGrail to send email messages on your behalf, using an address hosted on your email provider.

2- Cloud Storage

A critical component of processing Privacy Requests with DataGrail is securely storing and delivering PII to data subjects and requesters. To ensure the security of all parties' information, PII is encrypted and stored on your infrastructure, using one of our integrated storage solutions.

3 - Integrations

To automate the retrieval and deletion of data subject PII across your organization, DataGrail integrates with thousands of systems and can create new integrations to service your infrastructure.

4 - Intake Form

The Intake Form is a public web page that allows individuals to submit Data Subject Requests on behalf of themselves, or on behalf of others as an Authorized Agent. This is the primary method for intaking Privacy Requests with DataGrail. The Intake Form is hosted on your own domain and can be customized to match your company's branding.
