Zero-Click Deletion

Zero-Click Wizard allows customers to configure their workflow from manual intervention when deleting PII from API integrations, to automating it. Some customers have such significant volume that an individual or even teams are burdened with manually approving which data files to delete for each request and this process reduces time spent and internal cost.

Setting up Zero-Click Processing

Intake Methods

All intake methods (form, email, API, toll-free number) are valid and can apply to zero-click processing.

Integration Requirements

To achieve zero-click processing, customers should have API Integrations for most of their integrations to reduce friction with direct contact processing. Integrations will need to be configured not to include any manual approvals.

Wizard Automation Settings

Zero-Click requires the following steps to be automated within your Wizard settings:

• When I access a request in the Active: Wizard state
  • Skip automatically filled questions and start the verification step
• When I have a verified request (either selection below is acceptable):
  • Automatically start data extraction and send confirmation email
  • Automatically start data extraction without sending confirmation email

Deletion Automation Settings

Zero-Click requires the following steps to be automated within your Deletion Automation settings:

• Once a Data Subject Delete request is submitted (either selection below is acceptable):
  • Bypass verification, and retrieve requester data
  • Wait until the data subject email is verified before retrieving requester data
• Once Requester Data Retrieved
  • Automatically process request
