DataGrail Consent features a foundational integration to Google Tag Manager (GTM), making it easy for most businesses to have turnkey compliance with CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy policy frameworks. With DataGrail Consent, we integrate with GTM using our no-code solution, controlling how scripts are loaded onto your page and serving the banner notice functionality directly to any site connected to that container.
DataGrail allows the submission of opt-outs via multiple methods. One method is setting a cookie to allow you to prevent the insertion of tags. For example, you may determine that you do not wish to have retargeting actions performed on opted-out users.
Layouts is a new feature released in 2025 that alters how a banner is constructed in CSS. If you have previous customizations as a current DataGrail customer, you can follow this migration guide to help with transitioning to Layouts. Your current banner will not have any style alterations until your next publish event.
Overview
CPRA gives data subjects the Right to Opt-Out of the Sale of their Personal Information to third parties. DataGrail customers have the ability to handle Do Not Sell or Share (DNSS) requests through an intake form, verify those requests, and maintain a record log for compliance.
The DataGrail Privacy Inspector is a companion tool for your organization to review the trackers running on your website that may be selling or sharing information with third parties. We designed the inspector to be a fast and easy way to verify your site's successful implementation of DataGrail Consent.

DataGrail Consent enables your Webflow site to respect a data subject's (end user) consent to tracking with the Webflow Analyze and Optimize products. Our Consent Management Platform (CMP) adjusts the Tracking Defaults setting for Analyze and Optimize, based on the location of the user (and thus, what consent policy applies to them), and their consent choice (either implicitly through a universal opt-out signal or explicitly via the banner notice that appears on your site).
